The agent

What a shopping agent is, in one paragraph

A shopping agent is a company in China that buys it for you and posts it on. You never deal with the shop. You hand over a link, the agent pays the seller with a Chinese account and a Chinese address, the parcel lands in the agent warehouse, and from there you decide what happens next.

Two consequences follow, and both matter more than anything on a marketing page. The agent is the buyer of record, so an argument with the seller is the agent argument to have. And your things sit in a building you have never seen for as long as you leave them there, which is why a storage limit turns out to be a real number rather than a footnote.

What it does once the box is yours to decide about

The forwarding flow is three steps and the agent prints them: choose which warehouse, give it the inbound tracking number, describe what is inside. That third step is the one with teeth, because the description is what the restrictions get applied to.

Worth noticing what is not in the flow. Nothing asks you how much the contents are worth, and nothing warns you that the box you are about to create is mostly air. Those are both your problem, and they are both why this site exists.

How to judge an agent you have not used yet

Four questions, and all four are about what the agent has written down rather than what it says about itself. What they have in common: each one gives you something to hold it to later. An agent that has published nothing cannot be held to anything, and that is the actual risk.

Superbuy contact page listing a business cooperation email, a customer service email, a hotline, the company name DOT TECHNOLOGY HONG KONG LIMITED, a Hong Kong address and registered number 72396324
The fourth check, passing. A named company, an address and a registered number are the cheapest things in this list to verify. Read 2026-10-10.

Does it publish a price list, not a promise

Superbuy publishes eleven packing services with prices, caps and turnaround times. That is checkable. "Professional packaging" is not.

Does it state a storage limit and what happens at the end

A free storage number on its own is a selling point. A free storage number plus a disposal rule is a policy.

Is the fee structure split where the uncertainty is

Two stages, with the uncertain one named as uncertain, is more honest than one confident total.

Is there a route to a person, with a published address

And does the About page name a founding year and a company, which is the cheapest thing to verify and the first thing a shell omits.

Why Superbuy, and when to use someone else

Why Superbuy for this particular guide: because it publishes the packing menu with prices and caps, publishes the divisor it bills volume on, and publishes a worked example for both fee stages. That is what Superbuy does differently from most of this market, and it is the only reason the arithmetic on these pages is possible at all.

It is not an argument that it is cheapest. We have not measured that and we are not going to pretend otherwise. It is an argument that it is checkable, which is a different and more useful property when you are new.

When you should use a different agent. If your order is one small cheap thing and you are not combining anything, none of this applies and the freight will cost more than the item. If what you need is a guarantee that electronics work, the free inspection explicitly does not do it and the paid power-on test only covers switching on. And if the item is sold somewhere that already ships to you, buying it twice removed is slower and dearer for no benefit.

The other shopping agents you will see named

There are several dozen of these services and you will meet the names in the same threads that brought you here. A little orientation saves you from assuming that what is true on this page is true everywhere.

What tends to be the same: a warehouse in southern China, photographs on arrival, consolidation of several orders into one box, storage with a deadline, and a published list of things that cannot fly. What tends to differ, and differ a lot: how long storage runs before it costs money, whether the packing options are priced publicly at all, what the inspection excludes, and which carriers reach your country.

That middle one is the reason this site is about Superbuy. A published packing menu with caps and turnaround times is not the norm in this market, and it is the thing that makes the arithmetic on these pages possible. Where an agent does not publish it, you cannot do this analysis at all, which is itself worth knowing before you choose one.

Next step.
